We start with an in-depth analysis of the client’s needs; this allows us to formulate the design brief.But we don’t stop there. Whenever possible, we strive to offer designs that will make your home, office, boardroom or building future proof.

We can do this thanks to our extensive knowledge, training and understanding of current and the future trends in technology.We take on board every aspect of your project, working closely with yourself, your architect, interior designer, builder and other trade professionals to maximise the potential of the project.

EBM will create detailed drawings and specifications for your architect; builder; sub-contractors and yourself, so everyone is on the same page when discussing the details of your project.

We can provide the detail design, drawing, specification and the specialised equipment for your builder’s electrician to complete the wiring and then EBM would complete the audiovisual equipment fitout. This is the preferred method for a large number of builders, allowing their electrician to wire the systems from our design, (under our project management) while they install the general electrical system.

EBM can add to our drawings the entire electrical wiring system for the home, including lights, power points, sub-mains and switchboards etc.

If you require EBM can complete the installation and the fitout, it’s totally your decision. Our ultimate goal is your complete satisfaction.

If you are an owner builder or developer, we can help you create additional unique selling points through automation to maximise the value of your investment by offering individually designed systems for your dwellings.

Our typical project will consist of the following:

Consultation

We meet with you to achieve a clear brief of what you want to achieve

We translate that brief into clear Needs Analysis, that becomes a part of the contract

Based on the Needs Analysis, we prepare a fully detailed quotation for you

If you are happy, we sign the Contract

Design

At the early stage of the project, we prepare detailed designs; this will include all the necessary drawings using the base architectural drawings supplied by your architect; these drawings may include structured cabling, lighting, automation, security,load schedules, AV equipment sizes and the installation details.

We prepare a project plan with you and other trade professionals, such as the architect, building contractor, air-conditioning contractor, electrical contractor, interior designer etc.

We discuss all elements of our work with all involved parties to avoid misunderstandings and achieve the best result, attend any meeting necessary to resolve any issues or work around the constraints that often arise during the project

Installation

Following the supply of the design documentation and drawings, your electrician, builder,(or EBM systems if this was quoted) can start wiring as per the documentation.

Once the site is ready for the equipment installation (most of the equipment can only be installed once the dusty works are completed and the site is secure) we will deliver all of the equipment to site; usually the systems are pre-built and tested off site to avoid any surprises on site and minimise the time we occupy your property.

Following the installation by either your electrician, builder (or EBM systems if this was requested) everything is tested and labeled.

Commissioning

The final part is programming and customisation of the system to match the individual needs of the system users; lighting switches, touch screens, iPadsand remotes are normally programmed ready for use using our experience, but we allow programming time for some changes within a few weeks following your move in to personalise your systems;

EBM will then train you on the system, so you are comfortable using it and achieving the maximum potential from your home system.

For Architect or Interior Designer – Our services

EBM Systems understand the importance of the perfect architectural design. Wespend the time discussing the project details with the Architect andthe Interior Designer.

We have the same goal – to achieve the Client’s total satisfaction and assist in featuring your stunning design.

Creating an integrated, future ready home or commercial building, does not need to mean there is a lot of visible technology. In fact – it is quite the opposite!

We think that technology should be invisible; unless there is a need for it to be visible of course! Moreover, we think technology should not dictate or interrupt the architectural design of the building.

This is why we hide all of the elements that need to be hidden – the screen and projector in ceiling, TV behind the picture or recessed into the joinery, speakers behind the gyprock or in the joinery …… It all can be done, if there is time to plan and prepare.

We can also help you to create that extra WOW! Factor. Adding colour changing LEDs, ambient lighting, music or a video feature walls, if you can imagine it, we can probably do it!

Security consultation and system design

If you have your own electrical contractor for the installation but he is not skilled in system design or programming, EBM can design, supply and program the equipment for your electrical contractor to install. We will deliver the equipment preprogrammed to site with all the drawings and detailed installation instructions. During his installation we are just a phone call away for any technical support he may require.
